Actor Salman Khan made his appearance at most of the Bollywood award functions in his silver grey color Audi R8 that he had bought in December 2010, flaunting his impactful vehicle from the German manufacturer. The pickup and acceleration of the vehicle is just incredible just like its cost of $205,000. Crossing 100km/hr in 3 and half seconds and with an ability to touch 320 km/hr, this is a dream car in fact. Adding to the beauty of the Audi R8 is the high quality metal paint and the LED headlights that make it look like it is from a different genre altogether. Another astounding addition is the Bang and Olufsen’s sound system given out 465 watt that comes as an additional package.
Since the hero Salman and his heroine were seen to be travelling in the Audi Q7 in the movie Bodyguard, the German manufacturer presented the actor with the beauty in December 2011 when the movie went to become one of the biggest box office hits of the year. This was considered to be one of the smartest marketing gimmicks as making the senior most executive, Michael Perschke presenting the Audi to the actor would automatically increase the sale in India.
Land Rover Range Rover Vogue
This Land Rover is by far the most favorite car of the actor since he is seen using the silver white car regularly may be because it was his brother’s gift to him when they were making their super hit movie “Dabbang.” This is a stunning car with its full aluminum body and is one of the first of its kind and is capable of a seamless drive irrespective of the road condition and can give a comfortable ride even on the world’s worst roads. The actor has enhanced the Rover with high quality suede leather seats.
Suzuki Intruder M1800 RZ limited edition motorbike
In September 2012, Salman Khan bought for himself Suzuki Intruder M1800 RZ limited edition motorbike that was electric blue in color. Salman was always a passionate bike collector and this intruder adds to the list of his other bikes. Very aptly he is also the representative of the Suzuki motorcycles in India and all of his movies have seen him using these bikes. The intruder has a four stroke 1783 cc engine and gives an output of 127 bhp and 160 NM peak torque.
December 2012 saw Salman adding to his list of bikes the black beauty in the form of a gift from Suzuki Hayabusa manufactured by Japanese conglomerate. This was a return gift for Salman’s continued endorsement of the Suzuki motorcycles and its continued success. Since Salman is passionate about bikes, he has a long list of Suzuki bikes and yet has reportedly that he loves his older Hayabusa the best of the lot. The current Hayabusa has a 1340 cc engine.
In October 2009, Salman Khan bought a BMW X6 – again silver gray like his other cars. In all his good heartedness, he took out some poor kids on his first drive in the BMW. He has also flaunted this BMW by driving to many parties in this. The car’s cost is around $100,000, had a roof that slopes downwards and hence looks very similar to the vintage fastback coupes. The interiors match the exteriors with power seats in the front row, high class leather seats and superior quality sound systems.
